Om Malik is reporting that Skype for iPhone could get announced as soon as next week. When he asked Skype CEO Josh Silverman when was he going to launch the iPhone version of the service a few months ago he smiled and said, “Stay tuned.”
According to Om’s source Skype is “almost ready to launch that iPhone version” and the word is that next week’s CTIA Wireless conference in Las Vegas would be a perfect time to do so.
